Browns Point Whiteout - photography by Mark DodgePanoramic Photography
by Mark Dodge
June through July, 2009
Islander's Restaurant
848 N Sunrise Blvd.
Camano Island, WA 98282

Seagrass Gallery is proud to present an exhibit of large panoramic images by Camano Island photographer Mark Dodge, on display now at Islander's Restaurant, and continuing through July 2009. Mark's interest in the panoramic format began with cropping standard-sized images, but over the years he has perfected techniques for creating unnaturally wide-angle images to achieve what he calls an "accurate misrepresentation of nature."

"I enjoy creating hyper-real super-wide images by starting with a naturally-stunning landscape and squeezing in more than you can actually see all at once."   - Mark Dodge

Mark's photographs have earned dozens of awards at local, regional, and national shows. Both he and his wife Vicki are award-winning artists represented on Camano Island by Seagrass Gallery, where you can always see more of their work and that of many other talented regional artisans. You can always enjoy great food and outstanding artwork at Islanders Restaurant, 848 N Sunrise Blvd. Seagrass Gallery is at the Camano Plaza, 370 N. East Camano Dr. www.seagrassgallery.com
