Cameron Bailey and Kelsey
Dingman are the 2009 recipients of the Guild's $500 student
scholarship awards. On March 30, Jerry Finn, Kathy Raplee, Cynthia
Reardon and Jeanine Borree sifted through many awesome portfolios at the
Stanwood High School's AP Art Class (with teacher par excellence, Gail
Merrick). Thank you, Guild members, for shining a light into these young
artists' lives.

 | Snohomish County Arts Website: Artists wanted...lots of
artists wanted. The new Snohomish County Arts Commission website is a
window to the arts in the county and we need local artists. Local means
artists who work or live in Snohomish County and Camano Island. We'll
put your name in lights on the Internet highway. There's no setup fee,
you get free publicity, and you're helping establish Snohomish County as
a place for the arts. Just email a jpg of your work with permission to
use it, title of the work, medium, your name, email. If you have a
website or a place on the internet where your work can be seen, be sure
to add that web address. Include a brief statement about yourself as an
artist. Send your info to Marsha Neumaier, Website Editor
